From inception, Frontier Electric founder, Ron Homola asked only three things from his employees: hard work (or what he always referred to as “a day’s work in a day”), honesty, and integrity. Brad Van De Sompele President, Co-OWNER
Brad has been with Frontier Electric Supply since 1992 and is currently the president and co-owner of the business. Brad started in the industry back in 1985 working at Englewood Electric for three years in inside sales. He then moved on to Sciaky Brothers an OEM welding equipment manufacturer where he was a purchasing agent for all of their electrical and electronic products.
Mike Homola OPERATIONS MANAGER,
CO-OWNER
Mike has been with Frontier Electric Supply since 1988 and is currently the Operations Manager as well as a co-owner of the company. When he first stated, Mike worked in the warehouse and also did inside sales. He currently does all of the purchasing for Frontier.
Steve Homola Customer Service manager,
co-owner
Steve has been with Frontier Electric Supply since its inception in 1982. Steve was there from the beginning when his father, Ron Homola, started the business. Steve started out as the delivery driver, worked his way up to warehouse worker and then to inside sales. He is currently in charge of all things customer service and is also a co-owner of the company.
Samantha Lindeen Office Manager
Samantha has been with Frontier since 1997. When she first started she answered phones and did general receptionist duties. She is currently in charge of human resources and handles all of the company accounting responsibilities.
Jim Miller Warehouse Manager
Jim has been with Frontier since 2001. He originally started in customer service to learn about the business and then quickly moved to working in the warehouse. Prior to Frontier he had 5+ years of work experience working in warehouses. He is currently the warehouse manager and oversees all shipping and receiving activities.
Jenifer Betz Marketing Manager
Jen has been with Frontier since 2007 and currently holds the position of Marketing Manager. Prior to Frontier she was a senior customer service rep at Juno Lighting Group. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration Marketing degree from Eastern Illinois University with a concentration in Small Business Entrepreneurship.
Kevin Perlon Outside Sales,
Northern IL & Elgin
Kevin has been with Frontier Electric Supply since 2002, his current territory is Northern IL and the Elgin area. Kevin has been involved in the electrical distribution industry for over thirty years working also at Steiner and Effengee Electric. Kevin has a Bachelor degree in Business from Western Illinois University.
Eric Homola Inside Customer Service
Eric has been with Frontier since 2008 and is currently an inside customer service representatives. He specializes in customer quotes and return authorization management. Eric has completed several training modules through the National Associates of Electrical Distributors.
Myles Homola Delivery Manager
Myles has been with frontier since 2009. Myles is our primary delivery driver; on a daily basis he is picking up product from manufacturers or delivering parts to our loyal customers. Myles also helps support Jim in shipping and receiving duties when needed.
John Hooper Outside Sales,
NW Indiana & Michigan
John has been with Frontier Electric Supply since 2013, his current territory is Northwest Indiana & Southwest Michigan. Prior to Frontier John spent 18+ years in manufacturing as an Engineer, most recently directing Engineering teams as an Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering. He is a degreed Engineer from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and has his MBA.
John Malyszka Outside Sales,
South & West Suburbs
John has been with Frontier Electric Supply since 2013, covering the suburban sales region south and west of 290, extending from St. Charles down to Joliet, Aurora and Kankakee. John brings hands-on technical experience and problem solving to our team, having worked in system integration and process control automation for 33 years.
Dave Malhosky Inside Customer Service
Dave has been with Frontier since 2013 and is currently an inside customer service representative. On a daily basis he assists customers with their part number and pricing needs. Dave has a Bachelor degree from Northern Illinois University.
Sean Homola Delivery & Warehouse
Sean has been with Frontier since 2013. He currently works in the warehouse checking in vendor shipments and packing customer orders. Sean also supports Myles with customer deliveries and pick-ups.
Ryan Citron SALES ASSISTANT
Ryan Citron has been with Frontier since 2016. He currently works part-time at our New Carlisle, Indiana location and assists our sales engineer with day-to-day tasks. Ryan is currently studying Computer Science at Indiana University South Bend. Prior to IUSB, he attended the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN studying both Software Engineering and Computer Science.
